Are reality shows actually real?

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I was single in my intro! lol I have been single for the past 5 years now. Of course, I have been dating on and off, alas without any long lasting results.  Ladies, don’t you find that men (generally speaking of course) have changed?  No more opening of doors, or drivng you home.  Actually, I have gotten quiet a few surprised reactions when saying that I did not have a car.  Meaning of course, that if we would decide to go out on a date, he would actually have to come and pick me up? Lol, I have gotten the same reaction to , ”Is that your cell number?”, when I answer, ”I don’t have a cell”.

Yes I beleive in evolution (only if it goes forward), and yes I like to keep up to date!  But for some things, I am rather old-fashionned.  Things have changed so very much since my younger days.  By the way, just for the record I am from the ”baby boomer” generation.  And in all honesty, I wouldn’t change that for the world! In my day, lol, if a man called his girl ”Bitch” she would have most probably  slapped him to make his head spin! Today, it seems perfectly acceptable to call your girl ”Bitch”.  This is evolution?  Seems to me that instead of going forward, we are going back to our roots (neandrathalisme).

As for those reality shows, my God! The other day my daughter was watching this very popular sitcom J—–S—-.  Wow the girls!  Lol, is this our present reality?  All that make-up, false eyelashes, puffed up hair and those tops, revealing immortal cleavage!  Beleive me, when I get out of bed that is definately not what I look like! Now that is reality.  And their relationships, geez Louise!  All we see and hear is continuous arguing between them.  This is probably due to the fact that they have way too much free time on their hands.

They rarely or never do housework, or laundry, or cook?  Have any of you ever seen them reading a book?  Do they have jobs?  Some of you will no doubt say,”Well they probably do have a job, but they won’t show that on the show”.  But wouldn’t that be reality?  How can a reality show be real if it is taped in advance anyways?  And if it is a reality show, shouldn’t they be based on real life??

too be continued…

blessed be
